Excitement mounts at TTC 46 Weinheim ahead of new season

Free admission to the ladies’ first home match

The TTC 46 and its fans are feverishly anticipating the start of the Bundesliga season. Feverishly, of course, also because the Corona numbers could well lead to restrictions again until September and beyond. Currently, things are looking good in this respect !
Especially in focus is naturally the first women’s team, which after two rounds with the championship title this time dares the promotion to the elite class.
Now it goes already on 5 September with the first play day of the new round with the Heimspielbegegnung with the TTG Bingen/Münster-Sarmsheim – equal to an explosive play, with which an opponent from the lower table half is to guest, which one should take a few points, does not want to fight from the outset against the descent.

The TTC 46 Weinheim starts on September 5th into the adventure “First Bundesliga”.

Another new face in the women’s team

The preparations for the new table tennis season are in full swing, the team line-ups and the match dates of the first leagues are set, now only the Corona situation has to play along so that the matches can actually take place with the corresponding spectator attendance.
And in Weinheim, a whole new table tennis era is dawning: there has never been a first Bundesliga before, and the interest and anticipation are enormous.
In the women’s competition, the TTC 46 Weinheim team is in for a whole new experience: in the top league, the girls will meet the crème de la crème of German table tennis. With the many-time champion ttc berlin eastside, SV DJK Kolbermoor, TSV 1909 Langstadt and TSV Schwabhausen, the top four of the last round again stand as almost insurmountable hurdles in front of the respective TTC quartet, while ESV Weil, SV Böblingen and TTG Bingen/Münster-Sarsheim are likely to be in the second half of the table.
TTC board member Christian Säger has once again strengthened the team.
Since the international tournaments of the World Table Tennis do not take into account the Bundesliga schedule, the Brazilian top player Bruna Takahashi will not always be available, so that something should be improved up front.
With Caroline Kumahara another Brazilian with Japanese roots joins the TTC 46.

TTC 46 Weinheim announces new number 1 for women’s team

Sensational transfer for the first league

Board member Christian Säger was a little surprised, but at the same time very proud, when the confirmation arrived via WhatsApp: the much-courted world-class table tennis player Bruna Takahashi will play for the TTC 46 Weinheim in the upcoming round.

The Brazilian is currently ranked number 47 in the ITTF world rankings, where only a few players from the Bundesliga are ranked ahead of her: Petrissa Solja (TSV Langstadt) at position 19 and Britt Eerland (Netherlands) at 27, Nina Mittelham at 39 and Xiaona Shan at 43. , who all are active for ttc eastside berlin.

First newcomer for the ladies of the TTC 46 Weinheim

Sophia Klee moves to the Bergstrasse

As reported, the TTC 46 Weinheim has decided to register the first women’s team for the highest table tennis league. For this venture, the staff is to be upgraded a little in order not to be treated as a relegation candidate from the start.
The previous team had won the championship in the second division twice and did without promotion, and the quartet was also at the top in the round that has now been canceled – so they were not that far away from the upper house.
Of this season’s players, Belgian Lisa Lung, Belarusian Daria Trigolos and the two Germans Luisa Säger and Jennie Wolf remain in the squad.
With only four permanent players, there is still some retooling to be done, and board member Christian Säger has managed to secure a top German talent for the TTC 46. The 18-year-old Sophia Klee moves from the first division club ESV Weil to North Baden.

The TTC 46 Weinheim announces for the first women’s national league

Preparations are in full swing

After careful consideration, the board of TTC 46 Weinheim has decided to apply for the vacant spot in the women’s first national league. They had completed their current round with only seven teams after TuS Bad Driburg withdrew.

After two championships, the renunciation of promotion for well-known reasons and the table leadership in the now cancelled round, the Weinheim team is now venturing into the Bel-Etage of women’s table tennis in the year of their 75th anniversary.

The preparations for this are in full swing. For the previous coach Shen Zhujun, who can no longer perform this task due to time constraints, Christian Säger was able to win Andreas Dörner as an active support in the supervision and management of the team.
