TTC ladies win in Bingen and against Weil

Top of the table with two wins

On the first double match day, the ladies of TTC 46 Weinheim had to compete against two supposedly easier opponents in the first Bundesliga, but they realized that it always takes a lot of effort.
At TTG Bingen/Münster-Sarmsheim they won 6:3, at home against the newly promoted ESV Weil they won 6:2.
The women got off to a difficult start in Bingen.
Yuan Wan and Tung-Chuan Chien were clearly ahead in sets 1 and 3, but then allowed Mynarova/Rakovac to win a series of points. TTC 46 scored their first points with clear wins in the fourth and fifth sets, but Harac/Jeger promptly equalized with a 3:1 defeat against Kuzmina/Shi.

Tung-Chuan Chien made her first one-off appearance for TTC 46 against Lea Rakovac and was incredibly calm. She also coped well with two lost sets at the beginning and secured the victory quite clearly.

Tung-Chuan Chien with 4 victorie in singles and 2 in the doubles

Bingen’s new number 2 Qi Shi was able to prevail against Yuan Wan after five tight sets, when Yuan was unable to capitalize on a match point.
Mateja Jeger was unable to hold on to a 2:1 set lead against Elena Kuzmina and lost in extra time. Ece Harac then restored parity with her 3:1 win against Karolina Mynarova.
This was followed by four 3:1 victories for the TTC ladies.
Yuan Wan was successful against Lea Rakovac, Tung-Chuan Chien had Qi Shi safely under control after initial problems. Ece Harac held off Elena Kuzmina, so that Mateja Jeger’s victory, which had already taken place, was no longer counted.

There was also a 1:1 draw in the doubles against ESV Weil.
Wan/Chien were successful against Sozoniuk/Lachenmayer with 3:0, while Harac/Jeger had to admit defeat against Riliskyte/Ortega with 1:3.
Yuan Wan was always behind against Kornelija Riliskyte, but brought home the next point with 3:0. Tung-Chuan Chien was even further behind against Ievgeniia Sozoniuk in sets 1 and 3. 1:7 and then 4:9 didn’t seem to shock her. She won the first 11:9, the third went to Sozoniuk 12:10 – but overall a 3:1 win to make it 3:1.
Ece Harac was unable to put up much of a fight against Daniela Ortega and lost 1:3.
The match between Mateja Jeger and the defensive artist Lea Lachenmayer was extremely exciting: Lachenmayer was already leading 7:4 and 10:7 in the deciding set before Mateja won five points in a row.

The 4:2 win was then a template for the top matches. Yuan Wan won 3-1 against Sozoniuk and Tung-Chuan Chien against Riliskyte to secure the team’s second success of the weekend.
With now 6:0 points, they are the only team without a loss – behind Langstadt (7:3) in second place. The away weekend in Dachau and Kolbermoor follows in mid-December, before ttc berlin eastside visit Weinheim on Friday, December 20 at 6:00 pm.
